NO Hornets are in a slump at the moment. They've lost 2 games in a row. I don't see them to lose 3 games in a row and except them to play well and win this game. Odds around 2.40 is the value in my opinion. GL!

Pick: Portland (-7.5) Result: 94-88 Stake: 9/10 Odds: 1.96 Bookmaker: Canbet vCash: Yes

Portland team has lost 2 of their last 3 home games. I believe they will give their fans a victory tonight. By the way, Brandon Roy is selected to the All-Star team and it should be a great motivation for him.
New York Knicks are on a Western Conference road trip and it is hard to say things are going well for them since they were able to get only one win in this stretch. They are tired and frustrated with the way they are playing. I don't see things are going to change for them so soon.
Portland T-Blazers will win this game and will be able to cover this spread in my opinion. It would be a nice combo with picking Golden State against Charlotte. Good Luck!

Pick: Seattle ML Result: 101-95 Stake: 5/10 Odds: 2.32 Bookmaker: 5dimes vCash: Yes

This is what I call "value" for average stakes.
Last game of 3-game western conference road trip for Cleveland. They have played a tough game against Portland last night and won it because of LeBron's 4th-quarter play. I except them to be tired tonight. And LeBron James is most likely to be out for this game since Cleveland's coach would not risk him for this meaningless game in february.
I think that a rested and motivated Seattle team can get a win against this LeBron-less and tired Cleveland team. Good Luck!

Pick: Denver (-3) Result: 102-106 Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.95 Bookmaker: 5dimes vCash: Yes

I just don't understand the 3 point-spread here. OK, Denver lost to New Orleans badly, Carmelo is injured (day-to-day) and they are 5-5 in last 10 games. But whatever the case may be, they are still Denver and their opponent is still Memphis.
I except Denver go out there and play well after that embarrising loss to NOH. Carmelo can join them but even if he can't I believe they have enough to get a win against Memphis and to cover this spread.

Pick: SA Spurs ML Result: 97-91 Stake: 8/10 Odds: 2.25 Bookmaker: 5dimes vCash: Yes
Posted: Jan 28, 2008, 23:15
The Spurs are starting their annual rodeo road trip with this match. They have lost to the Hornets by a big margin at their home. So it was kinda emberrissing for them. That poor performance is the main reason that the odds are so high for San Antoino.
This is a tricky one but I'm picking San Antonio to win against Utah Jazz. I'm pretty sure that the former champions will end their shaky form. GL!

The Wizards are playing very well lately, even without Gilbert Arenas. But they're not playing well because Gil is out. They are playing that way because other players -like Caron Butler- have improved their skills at both ends. As someone said "No team in the Nba is better without Gilbert Arenas".
OK, back to the topic Wizards have won against top teams in last month: Boston(two times) and Dallas. I think their record doesn't represent their actual abilities as a team. So I except they beat some "bad" teams like the Milwaukee Bucks in this month.
Not too much to say about the Bucks. It's hard to say that M.Redd has enough to lead a team. I'm talking about mental and leadership skills. So in my opinion they need one or two other pieces and some time to have that constancy.
I think the Wizards are way too underrated by the bookmakers and they have that ability to beat the Bucks at the Bradley Center and to cover this 1point spread. GL!

Pick: Miami ML Result: 98-96 Stake: 10/10 Odds: 2.05 Bookmaker: 5dimes vCash: Yes

I'm gonna try to list things up for this game.
Indiana Pacers:
-Jermain O'Neal is out.
-Jamal Tinsley is doubtful. Even if he plays he definetly won't be 100%.
-They are on a four-game road trip. This is the fourth one, they have won only one game on this trip.
-This one is their fourth game in 7 days, they are tired.
Miami Heat:
-They have played only 2 games in 6 days.
-Their last road game was almost a month ago. It's hard to say that they are tired since they didn't travel and have had a lot of time to rest.
-They have lost 15 STRAIGHT GAMES. It's simply embarrassing.
-Dwyane Wade is in top form. Pat Riley and other players are determined to end this embarrassing streak too.
-They played very good against the Spurs but were unlucky not to win that game.
Odds around 2.00 is the value in my opinion. Take Miami Heat to win this one as I don't see them to lose 16th straight. GL!

Now this is the game what I was waiting for.
No, just kidding. I wasn't waiting for the right game for like two months:) Just didnt have too much time to post picks here. But the holiday is here and I will definetly have some time to post my picks.
Nets are on their pacific road trip. They have lost 7 straight games. I mean 5 games in 7 days, lost all of them and visiting a high-scoring team like Denver... I just don't see that happening for New Jersey. Playing back-to-back games both against high-tempo teams is very tough for a team which have lost their team chemistry a long time ago.
Jason Kidd is playing bad, despite Rich-Jeff and Carter are scoring, their bench players aren't contirbuting at all. Nuggets will have Carmelo back from injury. Iverson and him are selected to All-Star team as starters. That will be an extra motivation. Lately Camby is putting up amazing numbers too.
So Denver will win this one for sure. And they will most likely cover this spread in my opinon. Good Luck!

Pick: Barcelona Result: 0-2 Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.75 Bookmaker: 5dimes vCash: Yes
Posted: Jan 05, 2008, 15:32
Now this is the bet I was waiting for.
Ronaldinho and Messi will be sidelined due to their injuries but we will have the chance to watch Henry and Eto'o together and probably G. dos Santos will be in starting eleven.
After taking a loss at home from Real Madrid, Barça side is in a must-win situation since they are 7 points behind from the first spot. They will be under pressure but I am hundred percent sure Barcelona will win this match no mather what. Take this bet as exact winner: Barcelona.

Pick: Man Utd (-1) Result: 2-1 Stake: 9/10 Odds: 1.93 Bookmaker: Canbet vCash: Yes
Posted: Dec 29, 2007, 14:41
ManU is playing the best football in Premiership right now. But the chase is on, Arsenal will try harder to take the first spot back. So the Reds don't have any credit to lose points. West Ham is starting to struggle. Their squad is not too deep, that makes their starting 11 players tire faster. I think ManU will be too much for West Ham and are capable to win by 2 goals. GL!
